# Vartaloop

> Vartaloop is a streaming text-to-speech API built on its own voice model and engine. It has 47 voices in Hindi, Hinglish, English (India) and English (US), starts speaking before you can blink, and costs 10 paise per 1,000 characters.

Vartaloop is a text-to-speech platform of InfiniSync Consulting (OPC) Private Limited, ED 44C, Second Floor, Pitampura, Delhi 110034, India. Vartaloop is made for products that speak: voice agents, IVR, reminders, collections, notifications and apps. It runs on ordinary CPU servers, in Vartaloop's Mumbai service or inside a customer's own data centre.

## Key facts
- First audio: under 10 ms on the server; about 175 ms heard in a browser in India, network included
- Speed: a minute of speech is generated in about eight seconds
- Capacity: 24 live streams and 30 seconds of speech per second on one four-core server; capacity grows by adding servers
- Price: 10 paise per 1,000 characters + 18% GST, about a minute of speech, for Opus (the default) and PCM; WAV is 12 paise per 1,000 characters + GST; prepaid, no monthly commitment
- Voices: 21 Hinglish, 18 English (US), 8 English (India)
- Audio: 24 kHz, streamed over REST or WebSocket, pace from 0.5× to 2×
- Custom voices: about 30 minutes of recordings, two to three weeks, same price and speed
- Free start: the first 1,000 sign-ups get 10 lakh (1,000,000) characters
